Most saving advice is a list of tips ranked by how easy they were to write, not by how much they save. These guides start from the size of the line instead. Energy bills, groceries and subscriptions are each worth an afternoon; the daily coffee is worth roughly what you would expect. Where a figure appears it comes from a named source, usually Eurostat, with the date it was checked on the page. Several of them pair with a calculator, so you can run your own numbers rather than trusting ours.
